**** Strong t-storms will approach Bay Lake from the west this evening after 8:30 PM - the area is under a Tornado Watch until 1 AM Saturday - the biggest Severe weather threat though is for frequent lightning, heavy downpours and wind gusts over 50 mph - be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions after 8:30 PM - s...ome of the rain will be heavy & hail is possible too. ** Heat and humidity returns for the weekend along with thunderstorms and some of the storms could be Severe especially late Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.

** Lake water temperatures are in the upper 70s on Bay Lake right now. Usually 70 degree lake water is the point in which it is safe to swim - lake water temperatures at Bay Lake reach highest levels of about 80 degrees in early August.

During the month of August at Bay Lake the average high is 81 degrees and the average low is 58 degrees on August 1st then an average high of 79 degrees and average low of 56 degrees on August 15th and an average high of 74 degrees and average low of 53 degrees on August 31st. Jonathan Yuhas
