** Fall color is now at peak across northern and central Minnesota - expect excellent fall color conditions in the Bay Lake area right through the upcoming weekend ( October 11 and 12 ). Many leaves will start falling off the trees next week but excellent fall color especially with the birch trees turning yellow should linger through October 15th.
