** Wet weather returns on Tuesday then it will become more humid Wednesday and Thursday with some scattered thunderstorms at times and some could be strong on Thursday - stay tuned for the Father's Day forecast coming up tomorrow! Right now it looks like partly cloudy skies and 78 degrees for Bay Lake on Fathers Day 2009. Jonathan Yuhas


The average temperature at Bay Lake in June goes from an average high of 72 and an average low of 49 degrees on June 1st to an average high of 79 and average low of 56 on June 30th. Lake temperature are still a bit cool - mostly in the low to mid 60s around Bay Lake but should be climbing into the more comfortable 70 degree range in the next 10 days. Jonathan Yuhas







TODAY: Cloudy the rest of the day with isolated thunderstorms approaching from the east after 5 P.M. - the storms would produce some brief moderate downpours of rain for about 15 to 20 minutes between 5 P.M. and 8 P.M. - the showers and thunderstorms later tonight will approach from the southwest.

High: 76 degrees.

Wind: Southeast 9 to 18 mph

Chance for rain today: 50% after 5 P.M.

** The UV Index today is 7, which is HIGH, meaning you can sunburn in 20 minutes in the noon sun with out sun block even in cloudy conditions.

7 P.M. Weather: Cloudy with isolated thunderstorms approaching from the east - chance for rain is 50% - temperatures will be in the low 70s. Wind: Southeast 7 to 14 mph. Sunset 9:11 P.M.

** Thunderstorms are in the extended outlook for each day but that does not mean rain all day long - the thunderstorms will develop and last a few hours and at times will be isolated around the Bay Lake area so do expect dry periods too.

WED.....................76.......Humid with partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms - some of the afternoon storms could be Strong to Severe - chance for rain is 60% at anytime during the day and evening.

THU.....................80.......Humid with partly to mostly cloudy with scattered thunderstorms at anytime especially around sunrise and sunset - chance for rain is 60% before noon and 70% during the afternoon and evening.

FRI.....................75.......Humid in the morning then less humid by evening - partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon - chance for rain is 30% before noon and 60% during the afternoon.
