** Cold fronts and thunderstorms - today will still be a beautiful day but cold fronts from Canada keep jumping the border and heading into Minnesota. The air behind the cold fronts is not really any colder than the air ahead of the cold front but the front creates a wind shift and also becomes a trigger for isolated thunderstorms and this caused isolated thunderstorms on Friday in the area and will again produce isolated thundestorms over northern Minnesota today, Sunday and Monday - by no means will any of this be a wash out but be prepared to move indoors for 10 to 20 minutes if one of these isolated storms drift through - the greatest risk for a 10 to 20 minute storms today will be between 2 P.M. and 7 P.M.

The average temperature at Bay Lake in June goes from an average high of 72 and an average low of 49 degrees on June 1st to an average high of 79 and average low of 56 on June 30th. Lake temperature are still a bit cool - mostly in the low to mid 60s around Bay Lake but should be climbing into the more comfortable 70 degree range in the next 10 days. Jonathan Yuhas
