** A few isolated showers and thunderstorms possible today but most of the day and area will be dry then showers and thunderstorms likley late tonight through Friday. A few stronger storms are possible late this afternoon and evening just northwest of Bay Lake - the storms later tonight could produce brief heavy downpours of rain, hail, frequent lightning and high wind gusts.

** Lake temperatures are running in the low to mid 70s around Bay Lake and should be in the upper 70s around July 25th.

The average temperature at Bay Lake in July goes from an average high of 79 and an average low of 56 degrees on July 1st to an average high of 81 and average low of 58 on July 31st. Jonathan Yuhas




TODAY: Partly cloudy with with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible at anytime especially this afternoon - some of the storms could be Strong and produce hail, gusty winds, frequent lightning and some heavier downpours of rain - widespread Severe weather is not expected but be prepared to move indoors if a storm approaches - the greatest risk for storms today will be about 100 miles northwest of Bay Lake.

High: 81 degrees.

Wind: Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Chance for rain today: 20% before noon then 30% noon through 2 P.M. and 50% 3 P.M. through 8 P.M. then 80% after 9 P.M.

Weather: Partly cloudy with spotty showers and thunderstorms in the area - some of the storms could produce hail, brief heavy downpours of rain and frequent lightning - temperatures will be in the mid 70s with Southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph but higher gusts possible near thunderstorms - chance for rain is 50%. 7 P.M. Partly cloudy with a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm - temperatures will be near 70 degrees with West-Northwest winds at 8 to 16 mph - chance for rain is 30%. Sunset is 8:52 P.M.
