** The thunderstorms on Tuesday produced heavy rainfall in the Bay Lake area with radar estimates of 2" to 4" of rain during the storms between 5 P.M. and 8 P.M. Some spotty flooding was reported around the area near small creeks and streams so be alert that some standing water may still be present today in areas around Bay Lake. The threat for heavy rain is now over for the rest of the week.

** Cooler days ahead the rest of the week then warmer by the weekend. Temperatures will be very cool for July on Thursday and Friday then warmer by Saturday. Highs will only be in the mid to upper 60s on Thursday and the low to mid 60s Friday which is over 15 degrees below average - winds will be gusty Wednesday through Friday then much lighter by the weekend.

** Lake temperatures are running in the low to mid 70s around Bay Lake and should be in the upper 70s around July 25th.

The average temperature at Bay Lake in July goes from an average high of 79 and an average low of 56 degrees on July 1st to an average high of 81 and average low of 58 on July 31st. Jonathan Yuhas
