** A warm humid Saturday on the way then Strong to Severe Thunderstorms developing this afternoon mainly after 4 P.M. and then continuing into the evening. The Tornado threat today is mainly in western Minnesota near Fergus Falls and Alexandria but the Ruttgers/Bay Lake area may be under the threat for an isolated Tornado between 4 P.M. and 9 P.M. - the main Severe weather threat will be heavy rainfall in a short period of time and gusty winds over 50 mph. People heading onto Bay Lake should carefully monitor changing weather conditions today and be alert for isolated thunderstorms as early as 1 P.M. but the Severe Weather threat is mainly after 4 P.M. ** Lake water temperatures are in the upper 70s on Bay Lake right now. Usually 70 degree lake water is the point in which it is safe to swim - lake water temperatures at Bay Lake reach highest levels of about 80 degrees in July.

The average temperature at Bay Lake in July goes from an average high of 78 degrees and an average low of 56 degrees on July 1st to an average high of 81 degrees and average low of 58 degrees on July 31st. Jonathan Yuhas



TODAY: Partly cloudy, warm and humid with a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm after 1 P.M. then thunderstorms approaching from the west after 4 P.M. and some could be Severe with heavy rain, hail and damaging winds especially with the storms in the late afternoon and early evening - chance of rain 20% 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. then 60% 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. and 100% after 7 P.M.

High: 86 degrees ( very humid with a dew points near 65 to 70 degrees )

Wind: Southeast winds at 4 - 8 mph but higher gusts near thunderstorms.

Chance for Rain today: 20% 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. then 60% 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. and 100% after 7 P.M.
