** After some Strong Storms this morning ( more bark then bite at Bay Lake ) more storms may redevelop during the afternoon and some could be Severe with heavy rain, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes - the greatest Severe weather and tornado threat today will be this afternoon through early this evening from St.Cloud through the Twin Cities and points southeast into western Wisconsin but even around the Bay Lake area some intense T-Storms may redevelop in the afternoon heating so be sure to monitor the updated forecast and be alert if out on the area lakes. Time frame for more storms is between 12 P.M. and 7 P.M. in the Bay Lake area. Severe thunderstorms are again possible in the Bay Lake area this Saturday July 17 evening. Jonathan Yuhas

** Lake water temperatures are in the mid to upper 70s on Bay Lake right now. Usually 70 degree lake water is the point in which it is safe to swim - lake water temperatures at Bay Lake reach highest levels of about 80 degrees in July.

The average temperature at Bay Lake in July goes from an average high of 78 degrees and an average low of 56 degrees on July 1st to an average high of 81 degrees and average low of 58 degrees on July 31st. Jonathan Yuhas



TODAY: Thunderstorms ending by 9:30 A.M. then windy and very humid with a mix of clouds and sun and a chance for thunderstorms redeveloping after the noon hour - some of the storms could be Severe and produce heavy rain and damaging winds - chance of rain 40% the rest of the morning then 50% at noon through 2 P.M. then 70% 2 P.M. through 7 P.M. then 40% 7 P.M. through 8 P.M. and less than 20% after 8 P.M.
