** Fall color is starting to pop in northern Minnesota - the best color is still far north of Bay Lake near the U.S./Canada border but in the next 10 days fall color should rapidly start showing in the Bay Lake area. Right now most trees are still Summer green but the Sugar Maples are already showing Orange and Reds - look for the best Sugar Maple peak color between September 25th and October 2nd. The best fall color in the Bay Lake area is between September 30th and October 5th but areas of fall color in wind sheltered areas will linger until mid October.
