** Showers and thunderstorms will move through northern Minnesota today and tonight - also it will be windy today with Southeast winds up to 30 mph at times during the afternoon - winds will again be gusty from the West-Northwest on Wednesday. Spring is moving slow this year but things are greening up quickly now around the Bay Lake area! Lilacs are blooming in Minneapolis now and should bloom around May 20 in the Bay Lake area.






TODAY: Mostly cloudy with some peeks of sun at times - it will be windy with showers and thunderstorms especially during the late afternoon and evening.

High: 66 degrees.

Wind: Southeast at 14 to 28 mph.

Chance for rain today: 50% between 9 A.M. and 7 P.M.

** The UV Index today is 5, which is MODERATE, meaning you can sunburn in 35 minutes in the noon sun with out sun block even in cloudy conditions.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy and windy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the morning then becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with a chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm.

Wind: West-Southwest at 12 to 24 mph.

Chance for rain: 90% 5 A.M. thru 12 P.M. then 60% from 12 P.M. through 5 P.M. and 30% from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. and less than 10% after 9 P.M.

7 P.M. Partly to mostly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms - chance for rain is 30% - temperatures will be in the low 60s with West winds at 9 to 18 mph.
