** Showers and thunderstorms will move through northern Minnesota today and tonight - also it will be windy today with Southeast winds up to 30 mph at times during the afternoon - winds will again be gusty from the West-Northwest on Wednesday. Spring is moving slow this year but things are greening up quickly now around the Bay Lake area! Lilacs are blooming in Minneapolis now and should bloom around May 20 in the Bay Lake area.

TODAY: Mostly cloudy with some peeks of sun at times - it will be windy with showers and thunderstorms especially during the late afternoon and evening.

High: 66 degrees.

Wind: Southeast at 14 to 28 mph.

Chance for rain today: 50% between 9 A.M. and 7 P.M.

** The UV Index today is 5, which is MODERATE, meaning you can sunburn in 35 minutes in the noon sun with out sun block even in cloudy conditions.

7 P.M. Weather: Partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the area - chance for rain is 50% - temperatures will be in the low 60s and winds will be from the Southeast at 13 to 26 mph. Sunset 8:33 P.M.
